I have a bachelor's degree from Flagler College-St. Augustine in Elementary Education and Deaf Education and a master's degree from Barry University in Special Education. I am a certified teacher in Florida. I began teaching in Miami after I graduated from college, then went overseas and taught for a year in China. There, I taught international students who had varying levels of English and academic skills. I later returned to the U.S., where I continued my teaching.I tutor Algebra, Geometry, Elementary Math, Middle School Math, ESL/ELL, Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Phonics, Literature, Grammar and Mechanics, College Essays, Arithmetic, Study Skills and Organization, Special Education, FCAT 2.0, Florida EOC Assessment, GED Prep, Math, and English. I have a particular passion for tutoring English and Math; the latter because I see it as a world language that all people should know.In my leisure time, I like to read, play soccer, and ride my bike.
