I am a sophomore attending the University of Southern Florida and Hillsborough Community College for a degree in Computer Science. I currently have finished 32 course credits with a 3.7 GPA. I attended a military school overseas in the Kingdom of Bahrain and I graduated with an International Baccalaureate degree with a cumulative 3.5 GPA.
Experience
I tutored three 3rd-grade students in math, science, reading, and writing for two years as a sophomore and junior in high-school. During my senior year of high-school, I tutored two 6th-grade students in math, science, reading, and writing. The reason why I want to continue being a tutor is because I am highly skilled at it and I would like to continue improving student’s abilities in the classroom. As standardized testing goes, my ACT composite score was a 19 and my SAT score was a 1380. Also, while all through high-school, I was an active member of Future Educators Association and attended yearly conferences to improve my teaching abilities.
